On December 13, Fozzie and I went to Grand Rapids, MI for our Pet Partner 2 year re-evaluation. Fozzie did great! We passed with all 2's and a complex rating. I'm so proud of him! The most difficult part for us are the meet and greets, he's so exuberant and tends to forget I exist but we were successful.

Cooper is 20 months old and preparing for the TDI test. We are having trouble with consistency without treat rewards after completing a task. He was trained by the click and treat method during the Thearpy class. We do not use the clicker but he looks for his reward. I praise him but he wants his reward. Have been trying to wean off but not as perfect without. Need some tips on fast tracking off the reward for test.

Meeting the neutral dog is the most difficult task for Fozzie. His idea of meeting anyone is to go right up to them as if they are his best friend, forgetting me completely :)

I am so excited....Fazzy and I passed our Pet Partners Team evaluation last Sunday with a complex rating. We had to take the eval twice because the first time Fazzy thought he needed to go meet the "neutral dog" and passed across my midline...totally didn't expect him to do that. But...we made it thru the second eval and now just need to wait for our registration with Pet Partners and go thru the local hospital volunteer orientations in order to get started with visiting. YAY Fazzy!!!
