We leave in 90 minutes for Chianti's x-rays on her leg. Praying for all the best of news!!!! She is so done with her crate and pen. We also need to start breaking some of the horrible habits she has learned over the last 5 weeks!
If anyone has some good thoughts to spare we will take them!!!

Today was day one of introducing Chianti's new food to her. She has been on Purina Puppy Chow since she came home from the breeder and I know what a bad food it is, but was having trouble deciding what dry food to switch her too. Well, I decided to go with Nature's Valley after reading what the smarties in The Food Group had to say (it was between that and Fromms, but I had a hard time finding that in my area). We were suppose to have an all healed puppy by thanksgiving day. One that was going to be able to run and jump and play without the club that had been adorning her right leg for the three weeks prior. Well, we got not so great news at UPenn last week. Apparently, Chianti's radius bone healed perfectly, so perfectly that it continued to grow forcing Chianti's ulna further apart than the original green line fracture. One bone healed & one to go!!!!!
