I am a mom to 4 boys ages 12 to 3 and work full time nights as a RN. Married for almost 14 years. Live in the Pacific Northwest and grew up here as well.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
Had heard they make good family pets & are easy to train; was looking for a low shedding breed due to my allergies; thought this type of dog was cute!
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
Long walks in town. Playing fetch in the yard. Just hanging out at home :)

Nope!

Beastie Boutique (a speciality shop / groomer) :)
Favorite Doodle Products?
Bully sticks are well liked around here even though I think they get pretty gross. Longest lasting chew toys so far has been a hoof (and it was cheap too!) Love our wire crates. Love the gentle leader harness / lead system.

Wonderful first full day with Mojo :)

So it has now been 34 hours with Mojo in my care... he is settling in SO WELL. I am so impressed. I think taking on a pup the is close in age to Sammy was a great idea and I am so happy that the breeder was able to hear what I was looking for and come up with this wonderful guardian home match for us. I feel so lucky that we now have this second wonderful dog!



Hmmm... how do you add photos to blogs? Clearly I used to know how, but I don't see a way to do it here.

So my son Quinn doesn't like the new cut... in his words, "He looks stupid" but I really do like it. It is much shorter than I asked for but I figured that just means I can wait a long time before we go back. I love that I can see his face now and I think it is a great summer cut (even if it isn't at all summer like around here yet... darn it!)

Wierd, yes I just emailed you! :) Brie will be a mini, about 25 pounds, standing around 16 inches. And she has no problem playing with the bigger dogs. She has nothing wrong with her, sales right now are just not stellar. We're doing better this litter tho, we had pups left for 9 months last time! It's hard since we know we're not their family. I'll just continue to talk through email when I get home - I'm at work right now and will get home around 2 Denver time, (1 Washington time??) Thanks Jennifer!

hello! The breeder that my husband got her from said she would be about 40-45 lbs, however the last time we weighd her about 1 1/2 months ago she was at 65lbs. I'm kinda glad she got bigger, I really like big dogs. she is still a smaller than our choc. lab who's a male and weighs in over 100lbs. I saw your new pictures you posted I have a few of Madison in Molly's kennel when she was a puppy. I think all kids like to get in there. As far as trying to keep your little secret with Sammy on the couch GOOD LUCK Doodles forget NOTHING!! My guess is like the other person said your husband will be sitting there and Sammy will jump up in his lap like he's suppose to be there. Have a nice night!
