- About Me:
- I am a single 30 something living in Ottawa, Canada. I adopted my puppy Sophie (or Sophie Bear as I like to call her) to spice up my life a bit and to help me get out and get active, as well as to meet new people. She's been the best thing that has ever happened to me. She makes me so happy. I have always wanted to have a dog so Sophie was a dream come true.
I have added a second doodle to my home. Winston, a 5 year old goldendoodle, was adopted from neglectful owners and now only knows a life of luxery and pampering.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Sophie Bear is a multigeneration Australian labradoodle from from a breeder in Ontario. She was born on Christmas day in 2010 and I welcomed her home in February 2011.
Winston is an F1 goldendoodle. He is the sweetest most gentlest guy in the world and would do anything for a game of fetch or a good snuggle.
Sophie Bear and Winston have a kitty sister named Penelope (or Penny for short). Penny is pain in the butt most of the time but boy do we love her so.

- Playing fetch and snuggling.

How is Winston doing?
Oh I know that scottish mafio catio is wow lol. I can't afford to do anything that fancy either, but I am going to build a smaller one this summer, it certainly won't be as fancy but I have seen a few on youtube where they actually built them around trees which I think is pretty cool so I'm going to try doing something like that :D
Thanks for asking Sherri...We're getting used to the new "normal," although it seems like something will remind me of him a hundred times a day, and want him back so much. Like right now, he'd be pawing at my hand while I try to type :) He was a little stinker :) Song got a bunch of "grief" presents" and she's been happily playing with her new toys and "talking" away. Lucky these two furry guys keep me busy and smiling. Hugs to Sophie, Winston and Kitty.
My kitties don't like confinment either but I am building a catio this summer. Gonna build it around a little crab apple tree :D. if You do a search you can see that some of them are pretty amazing and don't make the kitties feel confined at all but it all depends on your budget/what you want to do. You can basically do it with some two by fours and a bunch of chicken wire, add some perches like logs and stuff in there and presto instant safe outdoors for kitty! Even if you don't build one, check out the one for the scottish mafia I want to live there lol
