Auggie is 8 months old today. Where did the time go? He's been home for 6 months already and I'm happy to report that I'm still alive. :-) As you know the first few weeks were really hard for me. But fortunately, puppies grow fast and the humans get used to the chaos eventually.

Several months ago I was minding my own business when Lynda Kamrath sent me a message asking me to send her some favorite photographs of my dogs taken by my daughter.  She was interested in seeing some of my daughter’s photographs, but I noticed immediately she did not ask to see any of my work.  She offered to print up our favorite photo as a giclee.  Even though I wasn’t sure what a giclee was, I knew I had to have one. …

First a follow-up: All my whining and “sniveling” last week seemed to chase away the wintery white stuff we were told would bury us under. Not one mere flake fell in our area, HOWEVER, Jack Frost isn’t finished with us yet, this week we are expecting frigid, low temperatures for many days – Yikes! But it will be dry. Freezing – but dry – I’m happy!

Hard to believe that little Myla is 5 today! Time flies by so fast. She's been a little spitfire from the beginning and that's why we love her so much! So.. Luna's coloring makes her look a bit like a lion and one day one of my students saw a picture of her and thought her paws looked like lion paws.

When i come home every day, my doodle is there and always happy to see me.  i set down my stuff and say, Oliver, come give me a hug!.  so he comes to me, and throws his head on my shoulder and give me a big hug.  then he backs away and looks at me, smiles, and wags his tail at me.  I just love coming home to this.  no matter how tough the day was, when i come home and see Oliver,  i forget all about the due dates and things.  How can you not love that?  I'm glad Oliver's previous owners…
