Today we took Dylan and Rylie to the movies...........it was nice to have the entire family go together. We went to see "Hotel for Dogs". It was really cute :) There were 2 Doodles on there too :) Throughout the movie, Rylie could recognize the doodles and the poodle named Juliet :)

How many of you have your doodles wearing coat jackets? I have never even considered getting our two doodles jackets. They love the snow and we live in canada where it gets extremley cold! Is it because you have your doodles hair clipped short? I really am curious.

Don and I sent in the papers to finalize the adoption. Sophie is now a official member of the Kiserow Family. Thanks to everyone for all of the support! Sophie's medical expenses were paid for including her very last follow up that will be in June! We love our girl and are happy to have been introduced to such a wonderful group of people. She has truly brought JOY into our life!
Don and I may continue to foster for Second Chance Rescue, though Don told me last night he is afraid we…

Well............it has been SNOWING like CRAZY here. But Bear LOVES the snow. Dylan likes to go out with him to play. Today, they went outside and played for about an hour and half. Bear is the only dog we know that could find a stick in a snow pile.................it could be 15 feet and he would find one............LOL. Bear ran with this stick as Dylan tried to get him by throwing snow balls. It was as if Bear was laughing at Dylan as he continued to miss him. It is great to see them play :)

Today
Lauren (Gracie & Bella),
Trasa with Noulli, and
Poki and his lab brother and owners joined us for a mini romp in my backyard. It was freezing but so much fun to see all the furry tails running and bouncing around.
Gracie and Bella are littermates with Poki. Lauren has mentioned a few times that Gracie and Bella are…

It is a huge bargain to get them this time of the year. Like three bucks, and really well made. From what I can tell, many of you still have plenty of frigid weather ahead of you. I got a great one in orange and red quilted, for Beau today. I think tomorrow (Sunday the 18th) may be the last day of the 50% off the clearance price tho.....so if you are interested, don't hesitate. Actually, nobody in my local Old Navy was paying any attention to them today, until I was trying to decide between the…

Can someone tell me how I withdraw from a group (doodle puppies)? I'm the happy owner of a new rescue doodle and am no longer looking.

We spent a week in a lovely RV park, River Lodge, on the California side of the Colorado River, just below Lake Havasu. As I was walking Holly after dark one evening, she began growling and barking and got quite agitated. I was a little concerned when I saw several shapes moving at the river's edge. I thought at first that they might be coyotes but the shapes were too large. As Holly barked, I took out my flashlight and shined it at the mysterious invaders.
It turned out that they…

Barney went to the vet yesterday to get fixed. When we picked him up, we were warned that he would be quiet, lethargic and not very hungry. Well........if anything we had to try and keep him still. As soon as we got home, he started his "zoomies". You wouldn't know anything had been done at all.
The good news he's not fussing at the incision, so no collar for him.
I have noticed that DH is walking funny tho........."sympathy" pains?

Last night after I got home from work, my niece Becky and I took Malibu to our community park where we usually use the chuck it and throw tennis ball's for her. She is a little ball obsessed, (Mali, not Becky) so we changed things up and went to the kiddie area and tried to teach her to go down slides. Mind you this is 8:30 at night and a little dark. When Mali was about a year old, she wasn't interested in the slides. But last night, she ran up stairs, went through tubes, went down open…

How funny is this that Adiana said the next slide show would be called "Naughty" well I went through my pictures to find one of Ozzy as a baby getting into my flowers...no sooner did I tag the picture when I walked into my kitchen to find Ozzy (all of 65 pounds) sitting on my kitchen table barking out the window...He now has figured that he can see much better out the window that way..of course I had to take the picture and try to lift him off the…

So in the photo show you will see some new friends Mali has made at a Seniors Assisted living facility. This was her second visit and we finally brought out the infamous tennis ball and it was all uphill from there. Everyone was waiting for their turn to throw the ball and Malibu faithfully brought it back to every person, and then with some direction I would show her who to bring it to next so everyone could have their chance to play. She was playing fetch for over an hour and made quite an…

Hey, I just heard that the president elect is looking for a labradoodle (from a shelter) as the offical dog....regardless of your political view, how cool is it that a doodle will be the 'first' dog.....love it! Even better that they'll be looking to re-home a pet....now that's definatly a step in the right direction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
