I have been home sick for 2 days and both Murphy and Bella are as calm and mellow as can be. They have been quietly laying next to me and not even bringing me toys to play with them as usual. WOuld they go out and catch balls if I went outside...oh I am sure of it. So I know they are just being quiet for my sake. So sweet. Had to share.

Some of you might know that we just moved to Arizona from Florida because of many things, but one in particular is that we love the beautiful mountains and trails to hike on.
I originally got Murphy to run and then hike with and have taken him everywhere and he has literally scaled mountains that go vertical and we slide down. No fear, just that look of "Are you serious?" Just need to share, (or vent) that I have never known a dog to eat as much Non-food items as my Bella. I swear she must have the makings of a hardware store in her belly by now! I figure most will come out one end or the other eventually, but it's the stuff that will get stuck or perforate that concerns me. I just can't figure out what it is that attracts her to this "stuff". Plastic, cardboard, sticks, rocks, fabric, socks, underwear, metal, stuffed animals, paper anything, pens, pencils,…

Bella is just about 6 months old and has such an outgoing personality! We have only had her to the dog park about 5-6 times and she just runs in there ready to make new friends, canine and human like she has been there everyday of her life. It is such a pleasure to see how she interacts with other dogs, how she goes up to other people and snuggles near their legs and lets them pet her and how she runs to play and then turns around to check in with me every once in awhile.
Just a joy…
