Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
The puppies are growing fast and it has been exciting to get updates from the breeder with pictures and videos. My brother also had a chance to go down and meet the breeder on the day we picked our pups. My brother and I ended up picking the two boys from the litter and are looking forward to the official "gotcha" day only two weeks from now.
I have been completing projects around the house to prepare for our new puppy. This week's projects will be installing the new hallway…

Lately I have been starring in my own version of the movie, Groundhog Day. If you haven’t seen the movie I can sum it up for you very quickly. It was about a weatherman sent to cover the annual Groundhog Day event in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, and somehow ends up in a time warp and keeps repeating the same day over and over again. I really never understood why anyone would leave it up to a rodent to predict the weather, but I do know that once my sister attended a Groundhog Day…

Hi, I'm not sure if anyone saw my previous post but I'm hoping to get some feedback on airline approved in cabin pet carriers; if all goes well, I'm hoping to pick up a standard size labradoodle puppy in November. I will be flying from NYC to North Carolina to pick up the puppy and the puppy will be accompanying me in the plane cabin. Sherpa carriers are airline approved in the small and medium size. The medium can accomodate a puppy weighing up to 16lbs; as the puppy will be just over 8…

Hi,
I'm anticipating flying from NYC to North Carolina, to pick up my standard size labradoodle puppy in November, and bring him/her in a carrier on the plane with me to go home. The puppy may be 13 or 14 lbs, and I'm just wondering if any of you had experience in transporting larger labradoodle puppies in the plane cabin and what brand/size carrier you used which were plane approved for transport.

This morning I got up earlier than everyone else and turned on the TV. There happened to be a show on with a couple of women trying to sell embroidery machines. I have no interest in sewing, knitting, or needlework of any kind, but I found myself mesmerized by what they were doing and thinking that maybe I needed an embroidery machine. Keep in mind the last sewing project I did was probably in my high school Home Ec Class where I tried to make a one piece jumpsuit and ended up cutting the…

Last month, I suspected that my son might be developing an ear infection, but there wasn’t an odor. So, I thought it might just be residual fleas from our May infestation/home invasion that crawled into his ears. Nope! Now my baby whines or screams if anything touches his ears (even if he accidentally rubs one against something) and I now smell the odor. I have some Tramadol, so I texted my FL vet friend what dosage to give him for pain. We’ll be visiting his local vet tomorrow.
I had…
