The Milt dog gets bathed on a fairly regular basis; we are on a schedule of probably about once every two weeks or as needed.  We are currently washing Milton in our guest bathroom, but that appears to be wreaking havoc on our plumbing.  Dirt just seems to slide off our doodle.

I'm hiring a contractor to build me a customized doggie shower in the basement. Sounds a bit elaborate for someone who only a few months ago was complaining of how expensive home ownership is; but I swear it is really not going to be so pricey, and at this point it is becoming a bit of a necessity. Hi everyone, and Happy Easter to those who celebrate it.  I was just thinking about how fortunate I feel to have found this site and all of you.  Some of you may know that I originally got Lola with my now-ex fiancée.  Unfortunately that relationship did not work out, for a number of reasons too personal to get into here.  My point is that I am a single doodle parent, and there are times when things happen with Lola that I feel like I just have to share.  Moments too…

Last week, the dogs and I were on a long walk.  Usually, I am halfway from my car when I realize I forgot my phone and anything else I might need in case of an emergency.
