It's Double Doodle time!

I've been Ummming and Arrrring about a second Doodle/Ooodle for about a year now. Welly was 2 years old in January, and even though he's a big lad and fills a huge part of my life I couldn't help feeling there was room for another doodle. Or was I being unrealistic and would 2 lead to double trouble - especially when my mum would have to look after them. But on every walk I couldn't help feeling that both Welly and I would love the company of another dood.

Well I finally decided to GO FOR IT. And so we have a black Labradoodle puppy arriving tomorrow when Uncle Welly will get the shock of his life and finally have to share his mummy ))"" .

These puppies are bred by a good friend of mine and I picked Mr Bingley from day 1 - never believing that I could keep him. He was spoken for, but sadly for the couple who intended to have him, they were unable to have him due to health problems. And so Mr Bingley was available and my mum was convinced that this is fait.

Look how enormous he is - and he's only 6 and half weeks in the second photo!

Thanks everyone for the big Bingley Welcome! Yes he is named after Mr Bingley from Pride & Prejudice =)

The boys are getting on great! It will be easier when he can start coming for walks - at the moment we are doing big dog walks and then going on puppy socialisation sessions and mini walks to wear him out!

He is a very good puppy so far - fingers crossed. He's quiet, very calm, hardly chews and is just a chilled out boy. LOVES his big brother so Im having to work twice as hard to spend as much 1 on 1 time with him as he spends with Welly. Hard work - but I hope it will all pay off in the end.

I have been feeling the same way....shud we get another?? Sometimes this decision just falls right "into your lap" . The puppy is truly gorgeous...our puppy Thomas was HUGE at 6 weeks also. I just LOVE that. The big ones are such nice dogs. Congrats!!! I am so jealous.
