Mom, Don't You Have More Christmas Shopping to Do?

I really wish Mom had more shopping to do because her being at home makes me tired.  First I had to get a hair cut, then I had to get a bath.  After all that, she thinks that she needs to comb me out!  This is exhausting.  I'd rather she just leave and let me take a nap.   

 

Whatever, go ahead and brush me if you want, just don't make me stand up, I'm too tired!  Why are you picking on me  Look at Sophie over there, she is filthy and her hair is way too long ....... why don't you work on her!  (ha ha ha, I already heard Mom say you are next!)    :o)

Ok, now may I please just go lay down and finish drying!  Go wash that dirty Sophie would you!

Sadly I think I bought the largest table top that was available.  DH has considered making a larger one and replacing the one that came on it.  The worst part is both of the girls always want to stand with their feet right on the edge of the table (see foot above) ..... I'm always afraid they are going to fall off.  Normally If I'm just brushing them I keep the table in a corner up again the wall so the can't come off, but when I'm clipping I have to pull it out so I can get all the way around them.

The effort was well worth it!  Lucy is a beautiful girl and you should be proud of how well you do with grooming her.

@Sheila -- It is now 1:45 and I've gotten two pre-bath comb outs, two haircuts, two baths, one comb out after the bath and one comb out yet to go once she dries a little bit.  Lucy still needs one final brush when she is good and dry as well.  I think I probably started between 8 and 9:00 some where.  We took some breaks in there as well.  So all in all, not too bad.  Beats $150 at the groomers.
