I have a seven year old and we always seem to be rhyming things.  I realized that I have started doing this with Chewie too.  I almost always call him Choo Choo New New Poo Poo. Does your dog have a silly name?

Murphy will answer to: Buddy, Murph, murphy-man, murphypoo, murphydoo, Boogie or HEY YOU! :)
Not really silly but we call our Holly, "Holly Doodle".
Oh yes, Guinness must get so confused.....Little Dood, Doodle, Doodlebug, DoodleyDoo, Ginnie. I try to never do this in public...I don't want him to be totally embarrassed.
Fluffaluffagus... so humiliating for him!
That is so funny !!
Love it!
Absolutely! It's funny...they have all been given names by us when we've adopted them but then very quickly they all get nick names!

Keegan turned into "Keeg Monster" (which was more tongue and cheek as he most certainly wasn't a monster! Sure do miss him.....)

Madison turned into "Miss Maddy" (as she is such a huge dog but has a sweet delicate soul)

Bindi turned into "Bindi Bandit"(she will steal anything and everything and just hide it for the sake of hiding it)

and Gaston-Cramer is "Rufus" (simply because when he looks at you and cocks his head sideways there's really no other name to call him! LOL)

Our understanding is that sweet Rose will be joining our family with a nickname already in place "Harry"....April will have to explain that one! LOL

Cute discussion!
We've always thought she looked like a Muppet. Muppet's are monsters...so "Harry Monster" just fit. :o) Over time it was shortened to just Harry, but we do still call her Harry Monster sometimes. :o) When she gets muddy, we call her "Dirty Harry." Hee, hee... :o)

Now, here's the tricky part.... it's pronounced "hairwee mon-ster" don't ask me why....I think it was Alyssa that started that. :o) She also has a voice that we use when we talk for her....Oh the things I have to teach you! LOL

Gracie is "Gracie Gooby Goobert Girl"
Kennedy is "Rot tot" short for rotten, which she is SO not, but somehow the name stuck.
Lizzy is "Wizzy Woo,Woo"
Rosaleena is "Beanie Baby or bean or weeny bean"
Oh, I can't forget the chihuahua ...Chloe. She is Alyssa's dog and has more nick names then I can remember. "Zesty, taco warrior, spicy girl, Zesty fried chicken, (I don't get that one.) Cheeky, Little Z, Teko, Niko.....

Yes, we all need much therapy....
I just call Lilly"My little pumpkin dood" or Lill-ler...=)
I call Cooper "sausage". It stems from the phrase "oh you poor sausage" (an English phrase like the phrase "Oh muffin" in North America). I call her this because she cries a lot when she isnt with us. Not out of anxiety, just because she thinks she is missing something

Sometimes we call her Cooper Pooper, but not so much now she gets a daily dose of pumpkin

Other names include - CooperStar (like super star lol), SuperCooper, Coops and alot of people call her Coopy (including us). She answers to them all

The cats have nicknames too
Merry - Merrykins, Sausage (cos she meows for food all the time) and Meriadoc Brandybuck when she is naughty
Pippin - Pip, Pippy, Pipsqueak, and Peregrine Took when she is naughty (``You fool of a Took`` - Gandalf). It fits her very well!!!!!

Note all my animals are girls, but have boy names!!!! Cooper is my Maiden name
Whopper has quite a few nicknames including Whopadoodle, Whoppadoo, Whopalot, Whopster, Whopmonkey, Goof, Muppet, Dood, Stinker...
This is a great question.... some of Cagney's nicknames are as follows.... Cagnish....Meathead Guy..... Horsemeat..Horsemeat Guy..Caggie....Meathead.... Bum Bum... Boo Boo.... Cag Doodle.... Cagster.... Baby.... Sweetheart....most of the time I call him Horsement Guy....don't ask... crazy I know....
