What type of birthday cakes do you all get for your doodle?  Ginger turns 1 next Monday and my son wants to celebrate.

Pam, we have a little doggie boutique near us that sells freshly baked doggie cookies and treats.  We always go in and buy a big "frosted" doggie cookie as their birthday treat.  I know that some people on here make their own doggie cakes, but i am just not that creative!
Thanks..me either...I can hardly cook for my family!
Pam, there is a great dog shop on King St in Old Town Alexanderia that might have something. I was in there with Gus and Lilly a few weeks ago and they had a lot of cool bake goods for the dogs.
Thanks...I will check them out...just a stroll down the street!
I made homemade bow wow brownies think the recipe is in the recipe group
Thanks for the info.  i will look for the recipe in the group
Rooney's b-day cake came from a pet bakery.  It was made from yogurt, peanut butter - and other yummy stuff.  Stuart will get one for his first b-day but then after that - just a cookie.
so cute..did you just let him "go for it"

I made Huff a birthday cake for his 2nd and 1st birthdays (hes only 2), I only have a picture of 1 cake though.

Dogs and Food

My "kids" get a new toy and I try to do something special with him/her during the week - going out alone for ice cream without the other dogs, but no birthday parties or cake.

There are lots of suggestions in the Recipe and Food groups. I will have to go look at mine if I can find them and post them for you. I love cooking for my two and make a liver treat that could be made into a cake. Gotta go now, but I'll try to post tomorrow.

We got Darwin a doggy pizza
