Share your spot!

[Bonne Bouche]

Where is your doodle's "spot"? I saw Donna mello posted a cute photo of her doodle quite contently laying ON her crate. And that got me thinking. Bonne Bouche has his spot in the office which I find slightly peculiar, but very endearing.

See he wants to be close to DH, who works from home at the computer three days a week. However, we generally keep our house fairly cool, because it is so expensive to heat. There is not a door on the office (we rent, sigh) so in the winter we hang a curtain in the doorway. This way when we heat that room,  it keeps most of the heat in. What is funny is that, we know BB clearly prefers being in the hall where it is cooler and darker, but instead he lays right next to the computer chair, with his head under the curtain.

Anyways, does your doodle have a goofy or silly spot that he/she has claimed? 

p.s. I did a search in the forum for a post like this, and didn't see one, let me know if I missed it. For the record there are tons of cute photos with the keyword "spot" so surely there's gotta be some good ones for you all to share ;-]

Lyric loves couches and has two to choose from--both have furniture covers of course! But Rio prefers the floor and he presses himself against the couch back --the couch is in the middle of the room, not against a wall. I just think it is funny that he will avoid all dog beds and couches and prefers the back of the couch....

Mattie likes one of the dog beds we have and is always on it if it is free! The strangest spot she has though is in front of a woodstove--like RIGHT in front of it so that her head is practically touching it--those things are HOT but she gets right in there and bakes...meanwhile, Lyric and Rio are on the opposite side of the room trying to stay cool! I don't have a picture but I will take one tonight when we are all relaxing in the living room watching the superbowl--the stove will be cranked up so she will undoubtedly be in front of it!

Any of the couches, behind the couch or next to the couch..   he's a couch potato.  

[Julie and Charlie]

Charlie likes to sleep in front of the sliding door while I work. It's the perfect place to notice the somewhat feral neighbor's cat, and to see his reflection in the window. It's a mix of sleeping and barking!

LOL that is precious! Darwin pretty much lays anywhere. Nothing too crazy. :-)

Libby's most favorite spot is a chair in our living room so she can be the designated "Neighborhood Watch" Doodle and the second favorite is our bed.  If she is missing we can definitely find her in one of these two places:)

She is very good at that and sometimes when we are getting ready to go somewhere and she knows she has to be crated, she can get inside the pillows without messing up even one pillow and we CANNOT see her.  She definitely has mastered the pillow thing:)
