Our sweet Maizy passed away

Over the last week Maizy slowly stopped eating and drinking. I arrived home from work yesterday with plans to take her to the vet right away. I work midnights so I got home at 8am. She didn't greet me at the door like normal. I went to go find her and she could barely stand up. I rushed her to the vet but it was too late, she had to be put to sleep.

It was an Addison's crisis. I am so sad, words can't even describe. I feel like a family member has died. She was only 2 years old.

Rest in peace my sweetheart.

Our breeder feels awful as well and has said she will have a puppy for us if/when we are ready.

I am so very sorry to hear this. It is always too soon when we lose a beloved pet, but only two years old is like losing a baby. Did you know she had Addison's? My two doodles died at seven years old, and I am still not over it. Know that you did the best that you could with a terrible situation. Hondo and Groucho Too are there greeting her at the rainbow bridge. My heart breaks for you. Hugs.

So Sad to read this. So sudden and so young. She had 2 wonderful years of a great life with your family and gave and recieved lots of love! Being thankful in this moment is a huge task, but I will pray for you all to find some peace in rejoicing in the blessing of having had her with you for her short time.
