Party time for the GRAD group July 26th

Big announcement for the GRAD group!
We have reached 100 members and it is time to celebrate!
We will be having a Picnic/BBQ including swimming for the doodles at the Dude Ranch on July 26 from 1-4 pm. Please bring whatever you would like to cook/eat and drink. Also any toys that your doodle would like… especially for swimming.
This is a brand new facility for me so please bear with me. I know that we will be required to sign a waiver for this event and I believe that we may be required to show a shot record (including bordetella) but not positive just yet on that one. We are also asked to clean up after ourselves so I would appreciate everyone pitching in on that part.
The cost for this event is $5.00 per family. I know this is new but this is to help cover the rental of the facility.
Please respond in this post by July 19th if you plan on attending to help keep it organized for me to give them a total head count (dog wise).
Thank you so much and I look forward to seeing as many doodles as possible. Feel free to spread the word! Again just let me know if you are expecting doodles from outside the group.

This sounds like an awesome event for an awesome group! Count us in - thank goodness I'm not scheduled to work - I would have hated to have missed this one!!!

It looks like so much fun! Even though it is 85 miles for us, I would love to come. However, my daughter is leaving for her 1st mission trip that afternoon, so I don't see how I can be in 2 places at the same time. Please include us on the next one hopefully in the fall! We have Bailey 16 month old goldendoodle and Obi a 11 yr old standard poodle, who love to play. Thanks for organzining, I will love to see pics and hear about the day.

The facility looks pretty amazing. Couple of questions ... has anyone toured the facility?

Would we be in a fenced in "separate" area from others? How big is the area? What is the "swimming" area? little lake.... a pool?

Sounds better than some "human" getaways !!!! I might have to sneak a peek in advance....

I have not toured the area. Hopefully I am going to try and get out there the weekend before. This was a suggestion from another member. Apparently the Golden Retriever club meets there regularly and that is how she heard about it. According to the owner lots of clubs meet there.
I have to admit... he did tell me but I got a little confused because there was a lot of info thrown at me. There are areas that are fenced and some that are not but we have total use of the area that I picked. I picked it because there is a shelter with a place to BBQ and the lake for the dogs to swim.
