Liza, We are so sad to hear about Kachi.  I remember seeing a picture of him on the Almond Blossom site before we got Alma, he was posing on your fireplace hearth.  I thought he was the perfect "poster dog."  Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Liza and Halle, my husband and I are so deeply and profoundly sorry for your loss. Our Toby is a Tula/Micah pup, too, from the litter before Kachi's (Sept 19, 2008), so we know what a very special friend and companion she was. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Liza, I am so sorry and saddened to hear about Kachi.  Kachi was a lucky boy, reading your posts over the years always brought a smile to my face.  He did what he loved to do to the end, but way too soon. You are in my prayers.

Liza, My heart breaks for you. You lost your precious Kachi far too soon. I am glad you were able to play together and can be comforted by that memory. Praying for your family and Halle. There will be a huge hole in your lives. My deepest sympathy for you

Liza - I am so sorry for your loss.  This is heartbreaking news and I feel terrible for you.  My heart goes out to you and your family.  We have Bode who is a Tula/Micah pup from March 09.  He had a basal cell tumor removed last year so I am always a little anxious about him.  Prayers to you and Halle and will be hugging our doodle tonight.

Liza, I had teary eyes reading your post. :( I'm deeply saddened that your beloved furry friend has passed on. I wish I can give you a (((hug))). Kachi looks so much like my Cooper, they both shared the same dad Micah.

I am so beyond sad to let you all know that our beloved Kachi passed away yesterday. (Kachi was in the 3/4/08 Tula/Micah litter. Bailey was his littermate) It was all very sudden. On Sat 7/3, he was 100% fine, swimming & playing fetch, and then that night, he was having trouble standing up. We took him to the ER, and they referred us to the vet hospital in Davis, CA on the 4th. A CT scan found a tumor on his left adrenal gland, and blood in his abdomen & chest. It proved too much for our boy, so we lost him yesterday. Our hearts are broken, and I'm devastated. He was my heart. Just the best dog ever. We take comfort knowing he spent his last day swimming and diving and playing fetch - all things he loved so much. Please hug your doodles for me, and say a prayer for our Halle, who is lost without her brother, Kachi.
