LOL! And I can tell you this is TRUE because Ginger Rogers lived in Medford toward the end of her lifetime and we even have a theater named after her! Bridget is SOOOO much cuter too! :)
@ Ricki.Ginger Rodgers had nothing, on my doodle. Ha!
Those are some AMAZING legs!! What a cutie!
@ Ginny. That is cool either way. I was hoping that she wasn't gaining too fast. Her Mom is 55 pounds and her Dad is 65 ish.pounds. I literally see the growth every several days. It is too funny.I have only had a cat for the last 16 years. Hadn't had dogs since I was a kid. Wasn't sure if she was gaining too fast. Her tummy isn't big though. She is long and tall. Check out these LONG legs...
If, at 16 weeks, she weighs say 24 pounds, she might end up weighing 48 -50 pounds--they really do slow down and doubling the 16 week weight seems to work well. Rio was 20 pounds at 16 weeks, weighs 36 now and is one year old. I am guessing that he will fill out a bit and end up at 40 as a 2 year old.
@ Caroline. Last week, Bridget weighed 22 pounds. When we got her at 9 weeks, she was about 11.5 pounds. She is due to get between 50-70 pounds. At the rate she is going I am thinking the latter ;)
Oh my word. How big is she? She and Bella are almost exactly the same age; she was 15 weeks last Tuesday.
Your puppy is lovely, looks about the same size too.
