I'm excited. Fergie's sister was born and I've got 5 little red girls to pick from. Can't wait. Get to go on a road trip on March 5 to pick her out. I'm leaning toward naming her Ginger.

Hi Everyone,
Just joined the site and love it! Penny was apricot at birth, and has lightened in color as she's gotten older - will celebrate her 4th birthday next week. Looking forward to chatting with everyone!

The apricot and red slide show is neat for our group. Are we supposed to put a picture in it or did you just pull some you have access to? It is a fun slide show to watch.

I have just noticed the same thing with my Roxie, she was more creme when we got her. Now I'm starting to see her ears are getting more red

Welcome Rae and Pam. So glad to have you and your redheads here. They can be a sassy bunch! The vet told me it's the apricot poodle in them. May be the case. We will likely have a chance to have our red ones in the front page slide show soon- watch for it.

Bella is a true red-girl and Rozee has been "turning" more and more apricot as she gets older. She started out mostly creme/white but then the ears turned, then a stripe down her back, and now she's apricot except for the top of her head that remains white. And both are so smart and very sassy.

We definitely wanted to join this group. Bella, my red F1 LD fits the sassy and
smart. I don't know if it is the color or the personality, but she shows her sassiness frequently. Her littermates were all red as well. I wonder if any of
them are a part of this group?
