I was trying to think of a simple project. There is the usual laundry bag but thought it would go unused. The weight of the fabric was difficult but I got where I sat to the left of him and kept that straight. Also, he is left handed, things weren't as convenient and his Nan didn't always get the straight pin tips buried. It was fun. Need more ideas. I used a tablet of paper taped to the right of the needle to help guide him. He only once wondered away from it. My son would always grab the sewing machine to fix things while my daughter does the"No, I really want to learn, just show me".
Nice! What a fun project! He did a great job. :)
Remember, any stylus will work.
I also do what Jane does...take a photo and paint over it. But just painting on a blank palette is sooo much fun too.
Ah, my Wacom tablet is super old so it doesn't have WIFI, darn it! Maybe I'll be able to upgrade it to a new one this year.... :)
Linda, I use a Wacom stylus with Procreate on my IPad. It's a little frustrating without it....you can take a photo with the IPad and then "paint it" with Procreate. Really fun.
It's a lot of fun. You can do sooo much with it. You can use your finger but get much better control with a stylus. Any stylus will work but I have the Wacom CS-500P that has wi-fi capabilities. It actually feels like a paintbrush and you get better control as to soft and hard brush strokes. My bro who is an art professor at Univ of Tx at Austin had this app suggested to him by his students. He takes pics of the painting he is working on and can go home, play with the painting on procreate and delete if he doesn't like the results!!!
Procreate looks awesome! Do I need to get a stylus pen to use with it?
Congrats!!!! Check out the app Procreate. I LOVE it!!!!!
