I am sitting here in tears looking at these pictures. My puppy looked like all of these dogs a few hours ago and then I took her to the groomer. She is completely shaved. They said they couldn't do anything for her. I have been brushing her regularly to avoid this. Just not good enough obviously. It is very hard looking at her now. I know she is the same dog but I just don't even see my Katie any longer. :((( I am so glad I found this site to help me through this evening.

Here is another black beauty! Yuki is his name and he lives in NC. His mother is Rutlands Delilah and his father is Chicago's Hershey Bar Kid.
They did a great job in his photograph.

We all know how hard it is to show off our beautiful blackies. I was told when using a digital camera be sure to have a darker rather than lighter background behind the dark dog. Digitals notoriously pick up the light and distorts the dark.
