Oh Carla, it sounds like so much fun at your house. I love that your other pets love Bunker so much already. So funny about the cat! I have a strange feeling my 22yr old cat won't take so nicely to Cooper when he arrives. She's never known a dog before, and I think in her perfect world she'd never want to! Oh well, that's why we'll have gates.

It is actually going pretty well.....if we can only get Daisy to chill otu for five seconds LOL. Who knew a pug would have soooo much energy. My 10 month old knows about him but the other 2 are sleeping so we should make it through the night. Bunker is settling in just fine. He sat in my lap as I ate my steak for dinner but otherwise he has meshed quite well. My ragdoll cat is in love she thinks he is all for her LOL. I will post pictures tomorrow for everyone.

oh wow...by now he must be in your arms, and I am just imagining the joy you must feel!! How in the world are you going to keep him a secret (from the kids) until the morning?

Bunker will be here in about an hour and 15 minutes and I can't wait. My husband sent me a picture of him when he got in the Van. Is it possible that he got cuter in 3 weeks? I cant wait for the furryness to be in my arms YAY

Ok apparently I am very impatient and I caved last night. My husband asked me a questioned which then in turn resutled in pro's and cons of bringing Bunker home early. Needless to say we contacted the breeder and we are picking Bunker up tonight. I am soooo excited for him to come home I am literally jumping out of my skin LOL. I will post pics as soon as I get a chance. We are giving him to the kids tomorrow morning.

I just want to say, Debb and Carla I feel your pain. I was like expecting my first baby while waiting for Lucy to come home. I put my downpayment on her in April and then we had a vaca planned for a year just when she would be turning 8 weeks old so were not able to pick her up either until she was 10 weeks old. She was all I could think about while on vaca. It is horrible knowing that this little bundle of joy is just waiting for you to come and take him/her home with you. What a wonderful Christmas time you will have. A new puppy is plenty of work, but you will handle it. Enjoy and post many many pics.

Thanks for the compliments on Cooper everybody! We get to visit him again this weekend. I'll be sure to take pictures, as I'm sure he'll have changed considerably by then. One week sure makes a big difference in looks, especially with our guy for some reason (must be that curly hair coat that's growing).

Just adorable!! We got Mickey on Xmas Eve, but it was because I knew that we were going to have almost 2 straight weeks to devote to him, since we were both home and on a holiday break. It was the best time for us, as we didn't have the holiday dinner here that year. Tough choice for you, but a smart one. Enjoy her when she comes home!!
