Just wondering "IF" anyone else has a bob-tailed Doodle?  I haven't seen one and was kinda curious what the real reason was behind the breeder cutting Ozzy's off.  Makes me wonder if his tail was broken during birth or enjured someway?!?!?   Would appreciate your comments!

We use Revolution which is a clear liquid you put on the nape of their necks.  It is used for heartworm, fleas and ticks and various other potential problems.  You need a prescription from your vet and you put it on once a month.  I have two cream doodles and it has never stained.

Does anyone else have a problem with flea pervention staining their doodles coat? I have two creams and a black doodle .I wish there was a shot for that like there is for the heartworm.

I am so glad to join this group-- any good recipes for shampoo to keep their coats in good condition?

All these doodles are beautiful, but then I am partial to cream and white doodles.

Tear stains- Lilly had this and then we started giving her bottled water and it went away. 2 wks and she hasn't had it since.

Baker has never had tear stains...he too gets 'gunk' in the corners of his eyes which hardens & can be brushed away.  I wouldn't worry about it at all :)

Lucy is a 20 mo. old standard labradoodle (3/4 poodle) and doesn't get tear stains. She does get 'sleep' in the corners of her eyes, however, which can easily be picked off.
