I have been taking Marlow to the groomer, but am going this weekend to buy sampoo and bathe him at home. I'll let you know what I buy and how it works. I think there are some good recommendations elswhere on the site, too.

what kind of shampoo do you use on your doodle? I have noticed with the hotter weather that Samson can get pretty stinky rather quickly. Just curious what others experience!

No, it won't bother his coat. Marlow has a very thick coat! It is in the genes depending on if he looks more poodle or golden (or Lab).

ok silly question but, does the heat effect the doodles coat? I was just wondering if this 100 degree weather will keep my puppies coat from getting full and instead make it thin or something... or does i not even do anything?

Check out Camp Bowwow - www.campbowwow.com. They're on the corner of Scottsdale and Shea. I visited them and they seem like terrific folks. They have an indoor/outdoor facility.

Yes, Marlow has a fan too. In the bathroom on the tile. And I had him trimmed shorter for the summer too, but he is still hot...lol.
