I'm a littel shocked myself, I took the time to give my suggestions and ideas for you...... If you were the person asking about getting more than 6 doodles together at a time we can talk through our pages or private mail.

Did someone delete my post in this group? That was very uncool if that's true. This community I noticed is not at all friendly about posting links to your own websites. I don't sell dogs or anything else for that matter so if my post was deleted because I linked my doodle romp website I think that is ridiculous and I'm not at all afraid to say that. I've been a professional web designer and webmaster for 10 years and there is nothing wrong with social networking but doodlekisses treats itlike a flame or some kind of crime. So lame.

Sarah, you'll be surprised how all the doodles and the owners just love being together. Our first big one was at a local dog park in Scottsdale and it is pretty busy on saturdays so I had name tags so doodle owners would know who eachother were and that helped a lot.
I will have them again at the Nov 14th romp. We will both have stories and pictures to share after this sat!

I also signed up on www.meetup.com and have about 34 members now on that site. Our group is called Arizona Doodle Romp. You can check that out as there are pictures and comments on there.

Good luck, and if there is anything I can help you with, just ask.

Hello! I wish I would have come across this group a month ago!

I'm Sarah, the proud mommy to a 5 month old labradoodle named Harper. We just finished planning an Ohio Romp, which is set for this Saturday, the 14th at 12:00 p.m. I am referring to it as a "mini-romp", because I'm not really sure what I'm doing. I have never attended a romp, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I'll let everyone know how it goes! *fingers crossed!*

We had a great first Doodle Romp last Sat. There were 29 doodles at one time and even more people. I made name tags for everyone who registered on line or replied to Desert Doodles or Az. Doodle Luv and that seemed to help people know who had a doodle. Everyone was so nice and appreciative and said they were looking forward to next month. The park was a little small for this many plus the normal saturday crowd, but it worked. It lasted about 30 min too long cuz my doodles were really slowing down by the 2 hour mark. The Meetup.com/Arizona-Doodle-Romp site is very nice and keeps things organized and sends out reminders to all the members. Then emails all that day to ask how it was. I think is was a big part of the success of this one.
