Hi, I just saw this group listed and would like to join. We've been empty nesters for more than a few years now, and didn't get our labradoodle Snickers until the "kids" were out of the house. Snickers has brought so much joy into our lives!

We just got home from a week's vacation. We boarded Beck at a wonderful facility, the same one that he goes to for doggie day care, so we knew he was fine, but there was not a day during our vacation that DH & I didn't discuss him and promise each other to never take another vacation where he couldn't go with us..

Thanks, Adrianne! We would love to have a medium sized labradoodle. The less shedding the better since Lola sheds enough for 2 dogs! Any color will do. I am also a member of the sister site, DRRC, so hopefully I will find a rescue doodle to give a good home to soon!

Welcome Susan! DK doesn't hold it against anyone that they don't have a Doodle. We are equal opportunity humans! What kind of Doodle are you looking for? I think you have picked the best time to get a dog - no kids to raise and all the energy into a Doodle - you will be so happy!
