I hope there are many gardeners among us doodle owners. After all we must be nurturers. We can share information on what's safe for dogs, how to keep them from destroying plantings and all green related things.

Thanks F and Janie. I found it at Lowe's and bought it with the intention of over wintering it in the house and hopefully collecting seeds.

This is not what I like to find in the garage. We have had black snakes occasion ally. Not fun.

However, I have a friend that said its not a copperhead, but Northern Water Snake, and others that have also argued saying its something else., Never the less, I did not kill it, I dont kill snakes, plus I was dressed in a suit and wasnt interested in killing something before work.  I hope its not s copperhead cause thats not good to have one in the garage!

Well this one is late, I get caught up posting on other stuff, Facebook exhausts me. LOL  anyway this way a few weeks ago, thought you guys might enjoy too.

This morning the garage door wouldn't close, I figured spider webs or leaves were covering the electronic eye. Went to reach at it but something was wrong... Turns out it was this copperhead snake!!

F you made me smile about the Lady Diana! I guess you'll know for sure with next year's blooms! What a gorgeous day here, been raking leaves like crazy!

Anne, that is a beauty! I had to google and read all about it! Love it!

I potted some geraniums to overwinter inside along with a tropical hibiscus and my new plant Mona Lavender Piectranthus (http://cdn.hgtvgardens.com/dims4/GRDN/7e4dbd6/2147483647/resize/616...)

I took in fewer things this year :-) some things like snapdragons sometimes come back for me and if not they are really cheap. I am now wondering if I did buy a Lady Diana for myself. While cleaning out massive weeds I found an anemone and it looked similar to yours except since I never fed anything this year it did not bloom nearly so much as yours.

My basement, and this is only a part of it! I've never brought so many things in before, but I couldn't let the frost get to all those blooms! They are by windows and we installed extra grow lights and will see what happens, so far so good!
