Bonnie, the Mt Tabor dog park is mostly fenced however the romp is being held at Picnic area B but it's a bit off the road & not really close to other areas.

If it isn't too hot, we will probably be at Hondo park on Sunday Aug 2 in the AM. Probably pretty early since I assume it will still be fairly hot.
Is Mt Tabor dog park fenced?

Hello, does anybody know of any doodle owners on the coast? We'd love to have a play date, we just got our Piper yesterday! We're in Pacific City.

Adina, I would recommend that they check out www.portlandpooch.com which has a fairly detailed off-leash park section for the Portland area. Also, if their dood like to swim, we take Oski to Lewis & Clark State Park which has lots of meandering trails all of which eventually lead to either the Columbia (if you go north) or Sandy (east) rivers and is near Troutdale which is just east if Gresham. Also, if Gresham is as informal as Portland is a lot of the schools let us use their grounds as off-leash areas outside of school hours--we found out about this from talking to the other dog owners in the neighborhood. Hope this makes sense :)
