How do I stop my puppy from Mouthing/Biting/Nipping? (this thread has a link to at least six older discussions about mouthing, etc. -- replying to this discussion can help centralize all the good feedback about this very common subject. I have just added some of the newer discussions to help update the topic)

Hi We got our puppy last saturday he is 8 weeks old, Willson likes to play but when he is tired he just crashes, having him go potty is going okay, but like another comment I saw the chewing he likes to go the end of our carpet and try to chew it or scratch the carpet of kitchen floor any suggestions???

Bella is 3 months old. She is adorable but is wearing us out! We do feel we are blessed that she is already crate trained. We put her in at 10:00pm and wake her up at 6:00. No accidents so far. She is doing all the typical stuff like running circles around the house at night and nipping (mostly at me). She loves to chew the corner of rugs and just about anything else she can reach. We take her on long walks in the morning and at night. She is stubborn and will only walk when she wants to. She loves playing with an empty 2 liter soda bottle. Go figure, I bought her a lot odf chew toys! I am thankful to find this forum to give support and advice as we haven't had a puppy for twenty years:)

Beckett is 13 weeks old. He's an English mini goldendoodle. He's the sweetest thing! He also rings the bells!(poochie bells) I can't believe how smart they are. He is well on his way to being housebroken. He never has accidents in the house anymore( oh, I hope I didn't just jinx myself..lol) and he rings the bells almost everytime he needs to go out. My only problem was the first few weeks. He wouldn't sleep thru the night. He got up at least once or twice every night for awhile. It tooks weeks but it seemed like forever. He's much better 11 pm till 6am.

Barney is only 9 weeks old, he's a lovely pup, but soooo curious. First couple days not bad, but now have to watch him every minute. We trained him to use bells on the door to let us know he wants out. Only took one day to train him. They're called "Poochie Bells" if anyone is interested.
