How do I stop my puppy from Mouthing/Biting/Nipping? I have just added some of the newer discussions to help update the topic)

Mostly they outgrow this stuff, but Ned will still get into the trash if he can. We keep bathroom doors closed AND have waste baskets with lids. I keep the wastebasket in our bedroom wedged under a chair - stylish huh? - and he still occasionally gets into it.
Oh goodness, Nancy! Not the phone! I was just thinking to say that Katie has never shown any interest in my phone, but then I realized that she'd never shown any interest in the remote either until she stole it! (Or borrowed? I mean, she did bring it back) They're just so smart and inquisitive. They're impossible not to love. And I can't even be mad because if I'd just put stuff away she wouldn't get it.
Stacy, if you get the TV remote thing settled with her, don't forget the phone - about the same size and fits through the doggy door well also! Guess how I know that?????
Puppies! I finally got the hang of keeping my underthings and shoes out of Katie's reach and tonight I got a new surprise. The next time y'all can't find the tv remote, you might ask the puppy if she might have taken it out through the dog door and left it outside in the rain all day! I dumped water out of it! And I still haven't found the battery cover. Somehow it still works, but good grief!
Just a reminder for all our newbie puppy parents out there that as the weather heats up remember to tests the sidewalks and particularly the streets temperature before taking your doodles for a walk. Test with your bare foot. If it is too hot for you barefoot, then it is too hot for them. Same with the sand at the beach.
Thanks for the heads-up! We definitely had these at one point, but tossed them after our puppy finished teething -- the bones did not digest well with our puppy :(
I apologize if this isn't the right place for this posting. TFH Publications, Inc./Nylabone Products, of Neptune, NJ is recalling one lot of its 1.69 oz. package of the Puppy Starter Kit dog chews, because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
