When I was a kid, I hated broccoli but, now I love it - either cooked or raw in a salad.  I dropped a piece when I was preparing a salad the other day and my dogs went crazy over it.  So now I add it to the kibble topping I give them.  Brocolli has lots of vitamins and minerals.

We rescued Angelina from a Los Angeles shelter on Valentine's Day.  She had been wandering the streets as a stray!  Usually, our rescue Maltese have to be just about clipped down to the skin because they are such bad shape.  However, although Angelina was dirty and somewhat matted; Judy managed to save her coat.  This was a nice Valentine gift for us and an even better one for this darling little girl. …

Toby will be going to a perfect furever home on Friday.  We definitely wanted a family who was used to having dogs around because Toby is occasionally a bit puppy naughty and is always vivacious.  We wanted a family that had a yard beause Toby has lots of energy and we also wanted a family with kids - Toby will have a ten year old human brother and a twelve year old human sister.  He will also have two dog buddies to play with.

Two of Holly's Maltese buddies had upset tummies last night and vomited.  Nothing serious, they are perfectly O.K. now.  Holly woke us up by whining to let us know that here friends were sick.  Now that's a great friend!

Our Holly has fallen in love with Toby a rescue who is a poodle crossed with some unknown breed (possibly Maltese).  He and Holly play together for hours and then spend quiet time together.  Toby is a puppy (we guess about 10-months old) who weighs about 15 pounds.

We call him a pseudo-doodle because he looks like he could be Holly's son.  He is well behaved, loving and well on his way to being house trained.  If anyone is seeking  a relatively small dog who has most Doodle…
