We learned about this approximately 9-month old Maltipoo who was in the Morena Valley, California (near Riverside) Animal Shelter.  She had not been adopted because she was too ragged and filthy and she was too scared in the shelter to allow their volunter groomer to work on her.  So it was a "Catch-22" no adoption out of the shelter until she was clean and no bath as long as she was in the shelter and scared stiff...…

First a follow-up: All my whining and “sniveling” last week seemed to chase away the wintery white stuff we were told would bury us under.
