Garden Group

I hope there are many gardeners among us doodle owners. After all we must be nurturers. We can share information on what's safe for dogs, how to keep them from destroying plantings and all green related things.

Moles eat Japanese beetles? Maybe that's why we have so many of them, no moles. :(

We have moles this year so perhaps that is why I have not seen as many of these as I have in past years.

I know this toxin. They spray it on snubs but I don't allow it here.

Here is another eye-opener in the same vein from "Mother Jones".  Apparently very little is immune from this toxin.  : (

Welcome.

I didn't know about this group!  I'm planning my vegetable garden now and am currently taking a course to become a Master Gardener in Iron Count Utah.

Oh, that is so irresponsible of them, Anne. Thanks for sharing this. I would have never looked or known about this type of pesticide.

Interesting post Anne.  I too will be watching.  As of today, only one greenhouse in our area has any plants for sale - our winter was unusually cold and unusually long!  Usually you can find some pansies at Fred Meyer, but their flower area was  bare yesterday. I have spring fever!

Thanks for the tip, I will be watching carefully.

Thanks Anne for this eye opener. What a pity that these growers don't protect the bees who we need desperately. I only buy a few annuals but I will be on the lookout when I do.
