We just went to the vet last week. Toby is 66.6 pounds at 11 1/2 months. I guess he's a heavyweight now? :)

Gracie is beautiful!
Boomer wants to go to see her at his bar for a beer!
All the best Bill and Boo...

This is a picture of Gracie Doodle...Butterfly Legs at their finest!!!!

Oh, I think "butterfly legs" sounds so much better than "sloppy sit". Sitting up straight with front legs together and butterfly legs on the back just is the picture of a doodle to me. The sophisticated on one end and the relaxed on the other.

Our trainers German Shepherd also sits like that, but we have two doodles regularly in our classes, so maybe she learnt it from them!! We just call it the 'sloppy sit'!!

I think Tuba looks like royalty even without the crown and robe. He is a big beautiful boy.

We call that sitting position the "butterfly legs" position!!!!! Gracie is that way all the time when she is not upside down with her back legs spread out flat and the front paws up and curled!!! Silly Doodles...gotta love 'em!

That sitting stance, however, is definitely a doodle trait. My goldendoodle sits the same way with the straight front legs and sitting on his "butt" with the back legs curled. Never saw our poodles sit like that.
