Hi everyone, I just wanted to share my happy news; meet Sable; she was matched to us today and comes home Sept. 4th! She is supposed to be a mini, I'm so excited!

We have a medium labradoodle (still a puppy) weighs about 13lbs at 10weeks how big do u think she will get our breeder said 35-45 lbs. Where do you think she will fit in?

That sounds pretty large to me. I have a 1 year old mini GD. She is a few ounces undew 30 pounds and around 17 inches.. Gracie is Real athletic and muscular. Her breeder said she would be 30-35. Mom was about 70 and dad 18.

I'm from Canada and I have a ten month old F1 mini GD who weighs 52 pounds. We thought he would be about 40 pounds so we were surprised when he kept getting bigger. His Mom is 72 pounds and 21" and Dad is mini poodle at 17 pounds and 13". He doesn't like to jump into our vehicle (truck) so he is pretty awkward and heavy to lift!

Interestingly someone from Canada said Canada had different standards, and that minis could be larger. However, Ann, you are from Canada (right?) so they must have been wrong. Why is there such a brouhaha (however you spell that one) about size? Is it because it is really hard to breed minis that stay mini size? I have met people who have 40-50 pound "minis." Are people delusional or do they think their dogs are superior if they are minis? We wanted a smaller dog to add to our family, but only want a label to be accurate when describing him. Any other thoughts out there?

Hey guys... I am knew to the Doodle Kisses site. I have a mini F1B chocolate labradoodle who is three months old (and about 12 lbs). I would love to see pics of any full grown mini f1b labradoodles (to get an idea of what Charlie is going to look like). Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Kim - Halas has hardly grown since he turned 7 months old. He was 22 lbs then, and he's 24 lbs now, at almost 18 months old. And I think a lot of that extra 2 lbs is hair. So I'd guess your doodle will only get a few lbs heavier. But that's based on my experience with just one doodle.
