Oh, congrats on Sable!! How beautiful she is!! Is she a LD or GD? and what size? I would love a 3rd puppy :) they are such great dogs.

She probably still smells her pee inside- is it on carpet? You really need to work at getting the scent out, dogs see nothing wrong with returning to the same spot even if it's on your prized oriental rug lol

Gracie is a little over a year and still sleeps in her crate. She can be destructive when bored so it is better she stays there.....Invest in one that folds up, then you can have it when you need to travel.

Can you use a baby gate to help limit his nighttime movement? If you can't trust him overnight in another location, I would suggest getting a bigger crate, so that he's more comfortable. I've seen some in great condition on Craigslist, if you'd rather not spend the money for a new one. Some dogs take longer than others to be trustworthy. I have some friends who still have their pups sleep in the crate, and the dogs are well over a year.
