Thanks Jill. Breeder said she is around 14 pounds. Hard for me to imagine what that looks like. I am having a hard time waiting until Saturday.

Hi all, I am new here and picking up my standard labradoodle on Saturday. The picture I have of her here is at 8 weeks. She is now almost twelve weeks old! Does anyone have any idea about how big she may be now?

Wild...yep, that's it. The first two hours in the morning are not any fun. And mostly I am here alone for it, so I have to try hard to remember his quiet times, and the love I have for him. Relaxing with teeth on your hand, or while retrieving him from upstairs for the umpteenth time is difficult..... :)

So, this morning started much the same as yesterday, until....I umbilicalled Toby. I tied his leash to my belt loop, attached it to him, and there you go. He wasn't very happy about it, but he also couldn't run upstairs, nip me, or get in trouble. I just let him out to pee, and now he is sleeping at my feet. I think he just needs a reminder that I am boss, and he is a puppy. Two days till Puppy Classes - come on Friday!!

Today I think I shall lose my mind.....Toby is being a BRAT today. Busting past the barrier I put at the stairs - he can get up, but can't get down. Plus, he shouldn't be up there unsupervised. He's done that maybe 5 times already. Nipping - I can only assume his teeth are bothering him. Trying to destroy his bed. Jumping up incessantly. Won't play in the yard. Tried taking him on a walk - he just laid down, cried, and wanted to come home. Oh....my.....word. Not a happy morning thus far.....

Update on Willson
I called the vet today and he was very surprised that the ER doctor wanted me to do medical procdure such as putting a tube in his penis, He has given me some pills for willson, Would I go the ER again oh yes if its for my Willy, but I would defintly call my vet the next day. He said he was going to call me but I called first.

just got back from animal hospital ER he doesn't have suture infection, they snipped off some of the hanging threads, but what he does have is an infection in his penis, some blockage, so we get to give him a saline solution. lots of fun

My vet says they are neutered around 6 months of age. Toby is 12 weeks, so we have a while to wait.

I am wondering at what age to get Dandy neutered he is only 13 weeks old I do Know that many are desexed as early as this or sooner . At what age do most do it now?
