Willson is trying to get at his stitches am going to call vet this morning, we were rolling a ball to him to keep him occupied and now he is chewing a bone. I think his e-collar is irratting it more than anything because he tries to scratch that area and the collar keeps getting in his way

A few days ago I stayed home sick from work so Zeke had my undivided attention for the whole day. The next day when I got home from work the room he stays in while we are gone was demolished. He has not been in a crate since about 4 months and doing fairly well in this spare room. He is now 7 months old and has a new crate. It is amazing how much more calm he has been since being crated again. We are happier and so is he!

Well I just picked up willson from the vet and he was a very good dog until late at night when they checked on him and he was starting to lick his incision so now he has a E-collar on, He looks so very sad with the collar, but I am going to try it off after the trick-or -treaters are gone then I can pay more attention, the Vet Tech told me she taught her dog to show his incision so I just might do that also, I am so happy to have him home.

I am dreading that day! I know I will feel like a complete traitor taking Toby in and just leaving him. But I also know he will be in good hands, and that it's necessary. I'm sure your baby will be fine. Keep us posted.

Willson is getting fixed today, I felt so bad leaving him at the Vet's office, I know he is in good hands, I am also having a microchip put in him.

Here's some puppy madness for you. Zeke completed Beginner Obedience recently and did very well. On the night of his graduation I took a picture of him with his reward and I'm so glad I did. Several days later he shredded and ate that certificate. Eating paper was not covered in class! Evidence of his passing this class can be seen on our page.

Thank you Sharon. My little dog's name is Buster...I've always said "my freind til the end"; his or mine whosever comes first and it was almost mine in 2000 and Buster has been there thru' thick and thin. You can go through your whole life and never have a real true freind until you have a special dog freind. I once saw a line on one of those page a day dog calenders and it read; "If dogs don't go to heaven when they die, I want to go where they go." I can't tell you the number of times that of thought of it. I can actully picture myself there sometimes and it makes me smile when there doesn't seem to be ANYTHING else to smile about.
Sorry, I'm not sad, I'm not trying to bum everybody out. I think that it is a wonderful line that's why I shared it.

Hello happy to belong to the group 13 wk old male goldendoodle named Dandy. I'm veering off topic here but...I brought my 13 yr old mixed breed Terrier/Old English Sheep Dog to my groomer yesterday, he is not well and will not be around alot longer God Bless his little heart. And while there told them of my new puppy; in unison they turned in horror proceeding to tell me that second only to Bishons, goldendoodles are the WORST dogs...rude, goofy, jumping up on people even past puppyhood and that even there clients who are seasoned dog owners have own completely out of control goldendoodles and they know that these people have certainly done training and obedience classes etc. to no avail. I also must admit that my dog trainer cautioned me against the breed months ago very adamently but I thought that that was totally because she was a dedicated Standard Poodle owner (championship Standard poodles!) and was against the use of Standard Poodles to breed these hybrids...you know what I mean. But I must admit that yesterday afternoon's episode left me rather concerned and disheartened. I cannot beleive that my perfectly behaving puppy who sits, downs, stays, comes and leaves it already is going to turn into the monster that these women told me that "they" ALL are. They said ; "well, you just wait til adolescence begins !" I just lost my male Bouvier to ca at 7 and the next male Bouvier went back to the breeder after suddenly becoming "prey aggressive" at 3 and breaking free and biting joggers and passers by by and he was EXTREMELY welltrained and sweet and freindly with everyone and all other pets. So I would really appreciate some reassuring or otherwise comments here. They went as far as to tell me to give him to some one else now while he is still very very young and has only been mine for only 10 days which I feel is already for the puppies sake, too bonded. Thank you all for your advice.
