Has anyone ever seen their doodle have more energy after exercise than before? That's what always seems to happen to Cody. I think he really enjoys the exercise so he just gets happy and kind of jumpy. At least he's happy!

Not a chance Diane. I forgot to mention as part of the relaxation I had a big bowl of peppermint ice cream with chocolate toppping. lol

Sounds like you lost about 5 pounds with all that exercise, Susan.

Yesterday I had an extra heavy duty workout! I took the dogs for a run in the park which also turned into a swim, then a roll in the leaves. I didn't go prepared for wet dogs so in addition to a 2 mile walk for me there were 2 baths and a car clean-up envolved. Finally exhausted, I was able to clean me up in a nice soaking bath as a reward ( after cleaning the tub! )

Tammy ..you are going to have a great time...well, Gracie is anyway.
Just relax and enjoy it. (That took me awhile.) We have been doing agility off and on for 2 years. Murphy just did his first competitions in January. (nope, we weren't ready but it was fun)
We will probably do some more in April.
Murphy absolutely loves it. Tunnel is his favorite and he will do that over anything....repeatedly! Gracie will do great.
Remember all dogs get the zoomies. (Murphy was a 95 lb zoomer...people grabbed their mini dogs up in fear they would be trampled) No one bothered to tell me that all dogs do this. I thought it was just MINE.

When I used to show my other dogs in the breed ring I was told whoever has the best treat, had the dogs attention. I had a recipe for liver, that guy was right. The dogs loved it but too much causes an upset stomach.

Actually the area is indoors or out according to weather, an iron fence, and I am sure she will be so excited that she will not try any escape. I can;t wait. We play on equipment at the dog park and she is real good at it even without any formal training. I just hope I have not trained her wrong already!

Tammy-We were also worried about having Rozee and Bella off lead for the agility class. They did some on-lead and then later we did off lead. The secret is the treats...make them gold treats (the most favorite for your dog) and they will do anything for you! You are going to have sooooo much fun!

I just enrolled Gracie in a beginner agility class that starts this Saturday. I hope my old, achy body can handle it. I know Gracie's can! I would never trust her off lead, maybe I am just an overprotective mom!

I only have an acre but the dogs are trained to stay on the property so they can venture out any time they like. When I work outside they always want to be out too. My old lab is content to walk around but with Jersey I use the "Chuck it" to throw her ball. She LOVES it.
