Hi Ladies ~ thanx for the invite, I hope any input I have is worthy of that . Feel like I am at a meeting and must make a confession: My name is Dianne and I am a breeder. I do not contribute to the shelter problem and in fact my goal is the same as yours, to prevent such tragedies. We may take different steps to arrive there and we may start from different destinations but since we are heading in the same direction I think we could optimize the benefit for all ~ especially those without a voice, if we look at not what separates us but rather what we have in common and how we can build upon that for the greatest good. Though I must say, I am first a breeder, I have many friends who I respect and admire how they run their program. I would buy and have bought their dogs. I sincerely hope that with my heart for breeding and for rescue I can help to bridge the gap that blatently exists between what appears to be the two 'sides'.

As for all the think I miss (maybe it is a good think) my though are that we should stick with the rescue theme as you planned when you start this group.

Well my is done! The girls have both very loose stood... And I'm going to start my "Job" because dear mother-in-law is coming tomorrow and will stay until next Friday...

I must say when I saw that article the other day about Almost Heaven it made me wanna puke knowing he is in other states and doing this. He surely knows where those 30 dogs came from...and probably are his own that he moved around again.

Denise, I thought he was not allowed to breed. Bring that to court, it will never hold up in court. Go get her spayed and have vet say she had a prolapsed uterus. I wouldn't honor that. Mange, dehydrated, underweight, no-one will ever be able to enforce that!
