Hmm not sure I believe this since they obviously only studied a fraction of blue eyed people and gave no numbers. But there is a theory that we all really came from a small number of female ancestors based on mitochondria I think. It' small rather hazy now : )

I found this article fascinating. Blue eyes were caused by a genetic mutation 6000-10,000 years ago, and all blue eyed individuals have a single common ancestor!

Curious if anyone has read Dog Sense by John Bradshaw?

Good winter reading.

Thanks, it looks like I'm getting both notices now. I've missed out on a lot of discussions!

Done before I read this. It was interesting!

Well, I did get a notice of your comment so I am hopeful that all my clicking has paid off. Would you mind commenting on the discussion I just posted so I can determine if I am getting discussion post notices too?  If not I may try leaving and coming back. Thanks!

No clue but I'd say leave the group, come back and follow. Computers have minds of their own.

I'm not sure what happened but I'm not getting any notifications from this group in either the comments or discussion areas.  My settings show Stop Following which I thought meant I am following until I click Stop Following...I'm so confused-help!
