Photoraphing Puppies

Puppies are inherrently figity and will definitly move or turn at the worst possible moment when you are shooting their picture.

There are two ways we use to secure our puppies:

First is using a narrow black show lead. Get behind your couch or chair and hold the pup in place with the show lead which is easily removed from the image using an editing progarm if you desire. Covering the couch with a blanket or other type of cloth helps keep distractions…

Holly's new bark...

Holly barks at strangers entering our property; until we let her know that the strangers are welcome. However, her bark has always just been sort of a warning. It is simply a "Here I am and this is my house!" bark. Enough to warn off strangers but, certainly not ferocious.

Last night after midnight, Holly perceived something or someone on or near our property and she reacted quite differently. Her bark was not a warning but, an "I want to tear your head off!" bark; combined…

AKC Canine Partners...

We all know that Doodles are among the best breeds of dogs. And we all know that the American Kennel Club considers our Doodles as "mixed breeds". However, the AKC allows some mixed breeds in selected competitions and among these are agility and obedience.

MACH ONE...

We are co-owners of Sara Marie who is the very first female Maltese ever to achieve an American Kennel Club (AKC) Master Agility Championship. She is now known as Master Agility Champion Jule's Catch Me If You Can - of course, she's still Sara Marie to us. We don't want her to get a big head about this. It's bad enough with us having a big heads.…

Eventful Day...

Every evening I give the Maltese and Holly a light snack, Tonight two of the rescue females who have been totally afraid to come near me, came up and took several snacks out of my hand. They have been watching the excitement of Holly and our other Maltese when it is snack time and just decided they wanted part of the fun. Each great journey starts with a single small step.

Another one of the fearful trio of rescue Maltese has been accepting treats from me for several weeks…
