We recently had quite the discussion on DoodleKisses and I would like to share some of my thoughts on the situation. It all started when Ricki (and Tara) posted that she received some buggy bully sticks. We have had many discussions about bully sticks but I believe this is the first time someone talked about their order coming with bugs in the bag. As I write, I am starting to feel like saying, “Peter Piper picked a pack of pretty purple peppers,” only changing it up to say, “Beware of…

Urgent breakouts can happen at any time and at any place. Sometimes it is difficult to detect the problems with your hairy friends. Issues like non-productive retching, difficulty in passing urine, breathing problems, bleeding, non-responsiveness, diarrhea, etc. need to be looked out for.
You should always be prepared for an emergency. Whether it’s keeping the first aid kits ready or placing the urgent…

Hello Doodles!
I have a problem... My boyfriend neighbor doesn't like me!
So this is how it begins... Everyday when I go outside, and Jet (that's his name) is outside too. So I keep saying OVER and OVER and OVER again: Bark Bark bark bark, gggrrrahhhhrraahoooohhrrrr!! (for humans that are reading, it means- Remember me? I am Bella! Can you please play with me??) And then, he goes to his back door and says to his…

IMG_5465.JPGLuLu is a 9 year old golden doodle. She's in perfect health -- she goes on her dog runs twice a day, she eats her food, cuddles with us and is impeccable about sharing energy, loving energy and compassion and yes, more energy! She's the neighborhood dog, she's everyone's pup. About one year ago, she starting throwing up her food within minutes upon eating. She would go…

Lucky came into my life after the first dog my fiance Paul and I rescued together passed away. Sahara was the first dog for Paul and the first dog I got living on my own. We got her 8 years ago and she passed at 16 years old. Our vet already considered her geriatric when I first rescued her. No one wanted her because she was aggressive and old and had already been through 3 homes before us. She was a very very very special dog to us. We were…

Hello Again!!!!!
This is the cool story of how I became a D.G. doodle!
The humans story
Once upon a doodle, the D.G. fam were just searching for a labradoodle or goldendoodle the whole weekend. Apparently, they didn't reallly have tha intention of getting a dood. (little did they know...ha ha) Anyway, they went to 2 diff breeders and were not that impressed;^) On Sunday, they went to my biologikal mommys house, and my human grandmas house, and found the five of…

The day I brought Cheddar home I began to feel sick, he was here for only four days before I became too sick to take care of him. Luckily we have some great friends who took him in until I was feeling better. It took two weeks, but he came back home Thursday night and fit right back into our home seamlessly.
I am so grateful for our sweet laid back puppy. I had worried that so many changes so early would have a negative effect. But he is so eager to please and has restarted training…

As most of you know, on May 31, 2016, my beloved Paz crossed the rainbow bridge after his courageous 6 month battle against canine lymphoma.I decided the best way to honor Paz's amazing memory, was to get another labradoodle puppy who could be trained as a therapy dog that would continue Paz's amazing work with young crime victims. After much research, in July, I placed a deposit for a puppy from a planned litter that was being bred in July. I am…
