Maryann,Roo and Tigger's Blog (24)

Tonight DH and I started Canine Good Citizen classes with Penny Scott Fox in Pasadena. Roo and Tigger are 32 months and 24 months respectively. They both have basic obedience. I have been waiting for her to offer a CGC class on some day other than a Tuesday so I am very excited. Neither of the dogs were embarassed by us so I guess we did okay. Although I will say that the puggle and the bichon were much quieter. Tigger and Roo had a lot more fun though. Practice, practice, practice now.…

Yesterday the UPS man delivered a package and rang the doorbell. Before I could get to the door the bell rang again. The doods and I went to the door -doods sat down on rug as instructed and I opened door. Package on porch, but no person. Suddenly both doods shoot out the front door - notice that I did not title this obedient doods. Roo returned immediately to "Roo come". Tigger, however had vanished from my site. Okay - I am finally calm enough that I can write about it. Last week I had my mentally handicapped nephew for a week while his parents were on vacation. He (nephew M) is on a lot of medication, including heavy duty seizure meds. He and his mom had it all sorted out in one of those multi compartment pill keepers.



All was going well from Monday until Thursday, Tigger and Roo were doing very well around M and M was doing well with them. No freak outs, melt downs, forgotten pills, etc. I… Continue
