Long before Rooney was even a gleam in my eye or a deposit on a looooong waiting list - I was invited to visit some friends who live in the south of France. Where to start? Dh was feeling very sad that he wasn't going to with me to see the new puppies tomorrow - and to find out if our little guy was really our Rooney. My poor husband flys home from NYC to our home in Ft. Myers every Thurs. or Fri. and flys back out again on Monday - hey - in todays world - it is a job.

Finally! I am going to get to meet my puppy, not just see his adorable self in a video or photo sent by the breeder. And I'm nervous - like blind date nervous! He will be 4 weeks old this Tuesday and I am driving 3 hours up to the breeders home for my first 'face to muzzle". Typically I wouldn't be meeting him in person (dog?) this early but I am traveling to Europe and will be gone for a bit so I need to do this before I leave.
