How do I join the Timshell Farm Group? Our Dudley came from there and I would love to meet other Timshell Farm members.

Hi Everyone,
We are getting a beautiful Labradoodle next week from Patty at Lag Cabin Labradoodles. Any words of advice for
us "soon to be" owners?

Potty training - Lucy has mastered ringing the bell on the door to go out and potty. Yahoo!!!! Now, I know how Pavlov's dog felt. We come running every time she rings. Who's training who here? She,of course, rings to go out and play. She seems to be a step ahead on everything...
New challenge - digging- I took my Mom to the family cemetery to clean it up before winter. I was carrying the branches away when I looked over my shoulder. My Mom is talking and did not realize that Lucy is…

My Mom is so ungrateful. Today, I brought her a special present, and she showed no appreciation whatsoever. Instead, she started shouting for one of the other humans to come take the present away. I don't get it. It was still fresh, and only missing a small part of the head. I wanted to make sure it was a good quality mouse, so of course I had to taste it before giving it to my Mom. Don't want her to get sick or anything. OK, maybe I ate a little more than necessary, but it sure was tasty. And…

It happened again...after being gone Friday night through this afternoon...we came home to a mowed backyard! AND he swept and cleared off our front porch (we had been busy and had a few giant boxes hiding out there (out of view of passerby but driving me crazy in MY view)). And our dogs were alive and well :-)
He's Clark's cousin's hubby and he dog sits for us (stays at our house as his work is 5 minutes from hour house...1 hour from his home) and it makes him feel like he "earned"…

Either that or I am just tiring him out so he behaves better :o)
Dyson is greeting people better no longer the jump up and pounce deal he was doing before, which can be intimidating for people as he does stand about 4'6" on his hind legs.
Today marks a special day for me though. I just received my Andis clippers to groom Dyson. I am really super stoked about this. for starters I just got the set of combs and I will be doing everything with the number 10 blade. I was quite…

On other sites, when the toxic dog food was rearing its ugly head, I started warning about products from China, I opined that it was just a matter of time before we find out that ingredients from China are being found in foods for human babies and adults...the iceberg is beginning to be uncovered...I really wish that I'd been wrong...but I suspect that toxins will be found in many, many of our products. (Note the bottom of the article where it says that the FDA is looking into it and will make…

Jerry and I decided Lucy is just like a new baby - no sleep and lots of photos
Daily walks - We have a stack of sticks beside the front door. Lucy picks up a stick and proudly carries it during her entire walk.
Meeting a new friend - We introduced Lucy to very large Doodle down the street. After a bit of sniffing and roughhousing, they were fine. Tucker has Lyme disease so we are very careful to check for ticks. We live in the country.
The car wash - Jerry started to wash…

Well the kids are back in school and it's just me and Dyson in the mornings now. I didn't get started as quick as i wanted but we still managed a walk to the pet store to pick up a new 6' leash and a good quality rubber ball. Dyson has issues with destroying toys. He's already destroyed a Kong Wubba. the only toys he hasn't destroyed are the harder all rubber ones like the original Kong, which he has. Anyway I am hoping to do some umbilical training with Dyson so that I can do things around the…

Aug 27, Barnie had his first nite at puppy school. We took him to the same trainer that trained our dear departed Pork Chop. Barnie love her, and she loved him. He was the only pup that wasn't a purebred, but I think he was the cutest! Celine used him to show the different position for training, and he clowned around but did as asked. Celine's is great, she works on what your dog needs, not just a set session.

I can't believe how fast time flies by! Beckett is almost 5 months old now. He's doing so well. He's housebroken now and rings the bells every time he needs to go outside. We're taking puppy classes. He knows some commands. We're working on walking on leash now. It seems hard for him...too many interesting things to see lol! I'll have to post some new pictures. I'm going to miss him when I go back to work at school soon. :(

today. Our dog park has mulch on the ground and when it has rained and is wet Zoe gets
really dirty. Well it hasn't been raining so we weren't prepared for what happened. She was running around like a crazy girl playing with all the other dogs and we noticed that she kept going to the water fountain bowl. Then she was laying in this pool of mulchy water where the fountain was leaking. She was black from the feet up to her belly, her fur traps the mulch and you can't get it out. We took…

I am soo very excited for our Willson, he now has two new puppy friends on our block and the block behind us he has big friendly Chocolate Lab named Abbey as his very best friend He always wants to stop and see Abbey, I believe that since he has a big dog as a friend he hopefully won't be afraid of any big dogs he might meet.
His two little friends are a puggle named Maisy, and a Corgi/Austrlian Shepheard named Bella
How fun is that for my little guy who is getting bigger each…

Last night was Willson's first puppy class and I must say he did very well at first he didn't want to stay on my left side when we were sitting down, but eventually he did he just fussed for a couple of minutes, he was busy watching all the other misbehaved puppies ha ha ha
I also thought he was going to fall asleep he became so relaxed like he normally is at 6:15 at night, he loved practicing "Watch Me" and the treats after accomplishing "Watch Me"
But the best was when we got home…

I went to the Malibu Romp last year and it was out of sight. I couldn't believe how many doodles were off leash and they all got along. I think about 150 doodles were there. It was amazing!!!! The food was terrific. I still am trying to get the green bean receipe. Amazing time by all. I even met doodle friends to play with Maggie my Goldendoodle.

Stella’s first night of Agility class was last night Aug. 5. I was incredible nervous…why… I don’t know. I guess I was worried how she would take to it. After the first 10 minutes had passed I realized I had nothing to be worried about. She took to it like a fish to water. She actually seemed like she was having fun and not like work at all. Her first step was to walk the plank (I am too new to this to know all the terms). The plank as I call it was maybe 4 feet long and fairly narrow. With…
