Erm, hello?

Spring is in the air & doodles are hitting the road. Took Doodle #1 and Doodle #2 up to Seattle to visit some old friends & deal with the vagaries of life (le sigh).

While snowshoeing in Mt Shasta this weekend we had sightings of the infamous Abominable Snowdoodle. This rare & goofy creature sneaks up on your from behind, clips a knee or two, then does his patented snow zoomies around trees, snowy lumps, or even hapless clunky humans on plodding snowshoes. I never thought I would say this but, yes, I've become a cult member. There's no mass weddings nor relinquishing of all worldly goods but I'm hooked. As the weather remains cold (not that Oski seems to notice!) we've held off on dropping the pooch off at the groomers to chop off his golden tresses. Oski had his first visit with the vet today. In his usual form, he snuffled his way happily into the clinic & charmed everyone. Still waiting on his routine blood work & the ever so fun "so fresh it's steaming stool test" but otherwise got a clean bill of health including bright pearly whites...EXCEPT that he's 79lb, a whopping 4lbs overweight!
