Oh I'm so glad you told me/us about The Sixth Man! I've been waiting for the next book in the King & Maxwell series to come out. I just preordered it for my ipad. Can't wait!

I just finished reading (in one day) You Had Me at Woof by Julie Klam. Very sweet book about a woman who rescues Boston Terriers.

Today, I heard on the NPR radio that Borders may be going down and become a "Tower Record" for books. They said Barns and Nobles did very well with "Nook" and tipped over the Borders...... I always liked Borders... :-(

Ha ha ha...I have "See Spot Run" up in my attic.  My First Grade teacher remained a family friend and watched my kids grow up.  She gave them her "primer" when they hit First Grade...See Spot run...run Spot run!

Since I don't have children I'm easily amazed, but particularly this evening.  Our little niece Emma is spending the night.  She was 6 in July and is in the first grade and she is sitting here reading "A Dog's Purpose" to me on my Nook!  I'm amazed at how she sounds out the words!  In 1st grade I was learning "See Spot Run"!

I like Baldacci's stories, and have read all of his books. His writing style makes me batty though...he uses the word "yet" WAY too much!!!

I love Baldacci, too. Sorry to hear about Hell's Corner.

I must confess, Nancie, that I misread your post "but haven't be reading much lately...too much DKing!"  as.".. too much DrinKing."  Sorry,  no glasses. Have to be more careful. lol

I loved First Family too. I can't wait for the next book in the King and Maxwell series.
