Cooper is a F1 Goldendoodle at his heaviest weight was 139. He now maintains a weight between 125 and 130. He too looks slender and is just  a big boy!

Connor my F1 goldendoodle is 3 yrs old, 26 1/2" tall and weighs 76 lbs. He's a leggy boy. :-)

The largest goldendoodle I've known is a dog Connor fostered with - he weighs in about 110, I think, and looks slender as can be. A VERY big boy!

I will be taken Banjo and Mandy on their first vacation. We will be travling by car. I was hopeing that someone might know of some good places to stop in Delaware, Maryland, and Virgina. I will be going south on route 13. looking for some place to let them get out and stretch their legs. Does anyone know of any places that we could stop?

I do so love my big giant doodle, but.... I took the puppy in for a shot today and brought Kona along for the ride. The last time he was at the vet office he weighed 94 pounds, and we were scolded because the vet said he should lose weight. Hrrumph we said. Well, after getting Owen, Kona has slimmed down to 82 pounds! Hey, I want those results!

And my 105-pound labradoodle was absolutely the best dog I have ever had.  When he died in Sept. however, I replaced him with another smaller brown labradoodle because with two large dogs, they are sometimes hard to handle.  My other goldendoodle is about 85 pounds and 30 inches tall.  I miss Hondo terribly, but the new puppy is starting to fill in the gaps.  I took him for his first off-leash walk yesterday and hope to get him started with biking with me (like Hondo used to do).  Groucho Too has never been a biker dog.

It is so amazing to me the importance that many people place on the dog's size. A good number of doodles are relinquished to rescues and posted on Craig's List for the reason "He got too big". And you would be surprised at the number of adopters whose main concern is howbig the dog might get to be.  I just don't get it. What difference is there, really, in having a 50 lb dog or a 60 lb dog? Or a 65 lb dog and an 85 lb dog? Unless the dog is so enormous that he can't fit through the door, what's the big deal? If you "don't have room" for an 80 lb dog, do you really have room for a 60 lb dog? And a 30 lb dog can knock over a toddler just as easily as an 80 lber.

In my book the bigger the better when it comes to doodles. I keep weighing Quincy hoping we would make the heavyweights,  we just made it at 2 years old and 65.2 pounds. I was hoping he would be bigger. Most people seem to think he is a big dog now and think I am a little nuts to want him bigger.

Leslie, Skippy is so cute! Our 3 year old Goldendoodle is 27 1/2 inches at the shoulders and 94 pounds. The breeder said he would be short and stocky because his dad is an English Goldendoodle. heehee. He is long legged and big and we love him to bits!
