We were told Zack would be 50-60 pounds. At 17 months he is 29" and 81.6 pounds. We love every pound and if he was 100 it would be fine.

My Gracie Doodle is 27" tall at shoulders and 72 lbs. Everyone calls her a little horse. I am not very tall and am able to just barely straddle her!!! She is really very skinny and Poodle like under the hair! After a haircut she looks smaller.

I understand! People will even yell out their car windows, "BIG dog"! or guys will say, "WHOA! That's big dog"! Funny enough, he's only 67 pounds, but is very tall! Someone called him Lanky the other day. He's really quite slim! Our reply is usually, "He's about 40 more pounds of love than we had expected". Either way, he gets lots of attention and we love him LOTS!

Great, aren't they? I also never thought I would have a hundred pound dog, let alone two of them. We must have fed them too much

Wow, just realized this afternoon that the "Heavyweights" started at 65 lbs ...... never thought we would be a member of this group (at least not my doodles, lol). However, Miss Lucy is tipping the scales these days at right around 67 lbs and is about 24.5 Tall. She has been up to 69 lbs, but last weight was 67. I've asked the vet if she was ok and she said yes. Also when I bathe her she doesn't look heavy to me. People on the street think she is huge .... however, she just doesn't seem that big to me. Having said that, I never dreamed I would love having a 67 lb dog in my house, much less one with a 54 lb sister.

I think I need to join this group!!! Clancy our two-year old rescue was 55 pounds when we got him at the end of March. At the end of June, he weighed 58 pounds and today (end of July), he weighs 61.8 pounds! No, he isn't at 65 pounds - yet, but he is only 19" tall! I asked the groomer today to really look at him when he was soaking wet and let me know if she thought he was overweight. When I picked him up, she said that she thought he could weigh more and something about how broad or deep his rib cage is. Noooooooo, I needed a smaller dog............. but he is awfully cute.
